This old house is not too much to look at
It’s all worn out and it’s been let go
I guess it needs some, new renovations
I think there’s one thing, that you should know
Love still lives here, inside these four walls
There are echoes, even now I hear
We used to sit there, right at that table
I feel a presence, throughout the years
And this old house, it is still standing
Although the cold wind blows, it stands thru the winter’s snow
I’m trying so hard, not to remember
This old house, just won’t seem to let me go
The kids have all grown up, they’re on their own now
I recall the first night, when we brought them home
This old house, somehow it raised a family
Didn’t always seem so, all alone
There were good times, and yeah sometimes there were bad times
Memories this old house, still knows so well
If you asked it, I’m sure it would whisper
So many stories, this old house could tell
Now they'll be all coming down, come next December
And this old house is a gonna live again
Until that day, it just keeps waiting
It keeps on staring out, from it’s window panes
It keeps on staring out, from it’s window panes
It keeps on staring out, from it’s window panes
