Eastbound Tain

She was just a child
She was young and wild
I remember well

Didn't know what to do
Now even if we wanted to
Our fortunes fell

The train come to the station
There was nothing left to say
It was a sad situation
The eastbound train took my little girl away

People say that love's in vain
As fragile as a passing train
I guess so
I can hear a whistle blow
Around the bend it's comin' slow
So deep and low

Engineer hear my pleas
Conductor can't you help me please
Can't you stop this eastbound train --------

Eastbound train don't run no more
Now what do I keep waiting for
I don't know
Eastbound train not comin' back
There is rust upon the tracks
So it goes
